1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the VoteX mobile application or web platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Eligibility & Registration
To use VoteX, you must satisfy the following criteria:
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- Each user is allowed only one account. Duplicate accounts created for manipulation will be terminated.
3. Prohibited Conduct
Users are strictly prohibited from:
Spamming
Automated or repeated rating of members to bias scores.
Harassment
Using comments or feedback tools to abuse other users or public figures.
Manipulation
Attempting to circumvent our integrity algorithms or bot detection.
Misrepresentation
Claiming to represent a government entity or official.
4. Content & Data Disclaimer
Non-Governmental Status: VoteX is an independent civic platform. We do not represent any government agency. Member data (MLAs, Candidates) is sourced from public records and Election Commission reports. While we strive for accuracy, users should verify critical information from official government sources.
User-generated ratings and feedback represent the opinions of individual citizens and do not reflect the views of VoteX.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoteX shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service. Our goal is to provide a platform for transparency, but we provide it "as-is" without explicit warranties.
